>>>Anytime, Erik. You don't have something somewhere in that dialog (or elsewhere in the project) that sets _SCREEN.Visible to .T., do you?
>>
>>Man, oh man do I feel stupid. There is some code in the init of the desktop form that sets _SCREEN.Visible = .T.. It's left over from an earlier incarnation of the app that manipulated this to do some other smoke and mirrors type stuff. Thanks for the wake up call, and sorry for wasting everybody's time.

>Join the club, my man.< g > I can't tell you how many times over the last 17 years I've done something similar (if not worse).:-) I don't know how many times I've looked at a problem code snippet, unable to see something that was right in front of my eyes. So don't feel bad. Sometimes it just takes an extra set of eyes (or the like). Isn't that one of the reasons we hang out here?

Yesterday I asked myself a stupid question: "Why my EXE flashes an quits even if I have READ EVENTS in main.prg?"
Myself thought for a while and told me: "Because you forgot to switch Set Main from myform.scx to main.prg."
