I have recently started to convert or basically run my 2.6 code from within Visual FoxPro 3.0. This process has gone on extremely well, once I renamed my .spr's to .prg's. I ran into one problem though that has caused me some trouble. That is with my resource files I use in 2.6. I have created many resource files that have been setup to save the screen layout and browse headers so the user will have the same look and feel everytime they enter my application. When they press a button that calls a BROWSE LAST on a related table the screen will always come up the same with the same headers everytime. That is because once I set the screen up I changed the read only flag in the resource file to .T. to ensure that this happens. It took me a long while to do this and I figured that the .dbf part of the transition to Visual 3.0 would be a no brainer, but it seems visual will not recognize my resource file setup for some reason. It will allow the SET RESOURCE command but when the BROWSE LAST is issued the browse windo is not formatted correctly. Has anyone run into this problem or have a work around I can do, so that I will not have to recreate the resource files from scratch.
