Liz Olsen, the Managing Editor, is running the day to day operations. She's being advised by the Technical Editors, of which John is one. (I'm also one.) There's a longer explanation of the change in the April Editor's View, which should be out soon.

I'm glad that you are still on the FPA team. While I look forward to the fresh direction that these management changes will bring, I know that your commitment to technical and editorial accuracy will continue to show through.
