I know <s>, I own the books I recommended. You need different SQL statements to poll different levels of hierarchy. I don't think there is a way around that. You can use a UNION to append data form different result sets...

With VFP and macro expansion it's pretty easy to create SQL statements on the fly. And keep executing until you get no more new results.
