When I view the dtproperties (from either the pubs or master database) in the Enterprise Manager, under table type it is listed as system.

But when I use every method I know know to get the table type, (sp_help, sp_table, select * from [Information_schema].[tables], etc. I end with type being "User Table".

What could I do interactively to determine that dtproperties is a system table.
