Well I finally got around to doing this and reported times match the clock elapsed times in both cases. It was 5,000,000 loops and FPD took 11.5sec while VFP took 22.5 sec.
Which is unfortunate because I had suspected the time reporting after hearing of the difference between Win9x and NT.

Reminder: more a point of interest than a problem.

I will keep chewing on it and watching for reasoning.
