It doesn't. The native VFP command button doesn't let you do this. Fine. In any other language in VS, if you want a capability not found in a native control, you find/buy/build one with the behavior you want. Ranting that a native control doesn't do all things for all people at all times is at best showing Pompous complainers truly fall short of the smarts most amateur VB coders have - they don't insist on using a hammer when a screwdriver is called for.
