Yes, INKEY() can trap ALT keystrokes, but I believe that KeyPress can not. (I believe I've tried it in the past, but I don't properly recall the results with absolute certainty.

The last line of the help for KeyPress states:

"The KeyPress event does not occur for any combination of keys with the ALT key.
"
