>Thanks for the response, Fred, but I'm sure if I understand. By "your VFP folder for your application", do you mean the project's home directory? If so, how can you have common code that is used by more than one project? That is, where would you put it? Must I put all such projects in the same home directory??

In short, yes, that's what we have done. All projects share a common "home" folder. I really wish we could make it work the other way, though. If you find a way, let me know. There more than likely is someway of doing it the way we'd like to, but I haven't found out how, yet. There's several other things in VSS that will drive you crazy, but once you figure out how to make them work, they make sense. Take sharing files, for instance. If you add another project to VSS that has some common files to an already existing project, you'll get another equally helpful error message (I forget what it says). But once you learn the "trick" to sharing files, it's pretty easy. To share a file in VSS, delete all but one copy of the file in one of the projects. Then drag that file to the other folders and say it's shared. Again, probably not the best description of the process but you should get the idea.

Let me know if you find out any way to have files on other drives, etc.!
