Andy:
Check the Files Section for a class by Tim Hockin. It implements scroll panels by creating all of the visual controls needed. I've used it for a form that requires over 2500 pixels to enter all of the data for a customer record. I had to add support for the TAB key, but that wasn't too bad. Bill Kepner (
BILLKE@mslc.com) made other changes that had less interference from the framework we use here and worked with some commercial frameworks.
I don't like VFP scrolling forms, as I need to use formlists. We've had some odd behaviors when we use VFP scrollbars on forms. The help me get to some sections of my scroll panel. One problem is that in design mode, the VFP subtracts the width of the scrollbar from the form width when it is saved. If you save often enough, you get a very narrow form, unless you constantly correct.
