Hi Vlad:
The principles found in Writing Solid Code apply quite well to all programming endeavors, VFP included.
Instead of the insipid counsel, "To prevent bugs in your code, don't put them there in the first place!" Steve explains how to detect them, how to trap them and how to not put them in there. Note the HOWs are important to me.
I don't profess to be a C++ programmer, but I can follow the examples. Thank goodness we don't have to keep track of pointers and pointers to other pointers!
Thanks for the reference to his other book, too. I'll look into it.
