Hmm..I don't have too much experience using the control. At one point I was going to use it in a project that was going to import information so I had set it up to open a text file and highlight/mark various sections of text based on their location. It seemed to work pretty well. I do know I've seen various threads come up about trying to print RTF memo fields - you might want to do a search here for them. They might be a little more useful than me ;-)
