>I have a couple reports to print and want the user to be able to pick the printer before printing any of them. The problem I am having is that even if user hits cancel on SYS(1037) or GETPRINTER() it still prints to default printer. I know that SYS(1037) doesn't return a value so how can I determine whether the user hit cancel or not?

My suggestion is that you roll you own printer dialog. Use Fox Power Printer from
www.foxprinter.com. You can control anything the printer driver exposes.
