That doesn't tell you much, other than that you do not currently hold a file lock on the table or a record lock on this record in this datasession. A different datasession, or instance, of VFP could hold either or both lock types; these fyunctions report if your current context holds the lock in question, not whether the lock might be held elsewhere.
