Since my last mail I discover that no matter what font I used, if I change the font size to 10 or above, there will be an auto line skip.

You can try the following lines in command window and will see the difference.

? "ABC" at 0
? "ABC" at 0
? "ABC" at 0 font "Courier New",12
? "ABC" at 0 font "Courier New",12

I am helpless.

Your font is different than the default screen font. Check what your screen font is by:
1) Click on the command window
2) Hold down the shift key and select the Format menu
3) Choose the Screen Font... option
