i had already checked out the vfp sample for list boxes this helped when going from one box to another but wasn't much help when dropping on the same object. what i'm looking for is how to check what listindex item is being dropped onto. i'm also having some problems with the cursor not changing back from the dragdrop cursor. outline seems to work a little different than i expect.
