Hi David,

>Is there a way to connect an offline reader via Internet instead of dialup? Do you know if OzWin can handle that?

Sure it can. I access the internet at a fixed monthly rate and access the CompuServe forum via my ISP.

In OzWin, choose Config > Session settings. Check the "WinSock" option and in the "Configure" dialog enter "gateway.compuserve.com" as the host. If you have a firewall or proxy enabled, you need a bit more work. Let me know, if you have any problems.

BTW, the current version of OzWin is 2.32. If you don't have it, you can go to the OzWin forum and download the lastest version for free, if you are a registered user.

>As John mentioned, having access from *anywhere* without special software is a really big deal to some of us who hop between 3 or 4 different computers in different locations during any 24-hour period.

Well, I can access the CompuServe forum from anywhere. With IE 5.0 I don't even need the VirtualKey software, but simply enter my user ID and Password in the logon screen. Of course, the web interface is inferior to the UT one, but I still can access it. I'm really not saying that CIS is better, just different. If your preferences are different that CIS's, stay with the UT. ;)
