Ahh, the beauty of n-tier. When you put stuff where it belongs, life is so much easier. I am designing an Oracle database and have put days upon days of work into it. Now I am developing the VFP front-end and all I have to do is drop controls on forms. Almost everything else is done on the back-end. This will make me front-end independent as I also plan to develop a browser front-end.

The app. has been in production for over 5 years and it was recently discovered that the unit cost is not always being calculated. Sometimes the unit cost is correct, other times it isn’t. The alternative to this fix is wading through millions of lines of code and objects, trying to find all the places that this field may have changed. Thanks to the help I received here, I probably cut a week off the schedule.
