Has anyone seen the Field Ordering affect a TableUpdate() from being successful?

I am modifying my table structures on the fly out in the field for an update and apparantly if the Views are in a different field layout order the TableUpdate fails. Am I doing something wrong here or what? I am totally baffled! The ARRORS() shows an Error 107. Data type mismatch.
