>I am reading and learning XML (XML Bible and another XML book which I have at the house and can't remember the name). I am interested if any one out there has used XML with any VFP tables or applications. I am interested in any pitfalls or success stories. I have an application I would like to put on the internet which draws from either VFP tables or using VFP as a front end (connected to whatever database).

I am building a large Web Connection based (VFP) system that relies on XML entirely for data interchange between application server (IIS / VFP) and client (IE 5.0). XML is a wonderful technology that is in essence a human readable / easily transportable namespace.
The latest version of IE (5.01) has a parser (MSXML.DLL) that is not compatible with VFP. This is not a problem for us becuase we do not use the parser from VFP only from the client side using JavaScript to invoke MSXML.
XML is the future...embrace it now. It is ready for prime time and so are the toolsets.
