The idea of using the Grid's ChildOrder, LinkMaster, and RelationalExpr properties is when you open your database tables hardcoded maybe at the load event method. If you open tables in the DE and established relationships there, I think no need to do it again in the grid. However, it still works if you do the same but redundant in nature.
