I have a user who can't get my Visual Foxpro executable to run when they are logged into their Novell network. The users download the executable from the web, then extract and install the system locally on their hard drives. If the user is logged into the Novell network, then executes the shortcut for my VFP application, the fox application does not appear on the task bar, and does not appear visually in any way. If they bring up the Windows Task List (Ctrl+Alt+Del), the Visual Fox application appears in the list. It does not appear as "Not Responding".

If the user restarts their computer and does not log into the network, the fox application works as it should. We've tried a variety of things over the phone, but none has worked except skipping the Novell login. Since I do not have Novell, I'm not clear what the problem could really be. It appears that Novell somehow conflicts with the Visual Fox executable.

Does anyone have any ideas on a solution? Since this can only be handled over the phone with the customer, it's quite difficult to offer a solution.

Thanks in advance for your help.
