Putting the columns in the cursor to the order that you want to view them in the grid works just fine. Back in the VFP 5.0 days it did not matter how the cursor looked, the column control sources were bound to the defined fields nomatter what the order was in the underlying cursor. This leads me to believe that the control source on the columns in a 6.0 grid does not work the way it should. Why bother defining control sources if the grid is going to assign cursor column 1 to grid column 1, cursor column 2 to grid column 2 and so on?
