Title:
code examples added in?
Some Idle Chatter:
To all of you "old hands" out there...
I've seen questions asked and have asked questions in the past on some complicated and easy topics and have noticed in many cases the answers are very brief... as an example: "Try command x".
Two things arise from this: Usually the person knows about command x, but doesn't understand how it really works OR they understand technically what it does, but not how to put it together to accomplish their task.
What has been a livesaver for myself and I believe others is for the replier to actually put some coding examples in the reply. I have on many occasions simply cut the code, tried it out and incorporated it with minor revisions...
On the other hand, perhaps a lot of the replies are short as you probably are short on time if you're like the rest of us!
Comments?
Jim.
