Hi all,

I talked to a young man who had implemented a foxpro app on the internet. He was using business objects on a transaction server, a SQL Server back-end and a Foxpro client on the front end. He was binding the data to properties on his bizobj using scatter name, and then binding those properties to the controls in his app. He said there were some performance issues (really!) with this approach. I suggested he send the data over the internet using xml or ADO and transform it to a cursor when it got to Foxpro. He claims this method is also too slow. His argument for his method was that ADO was an object and that his method was closest to ADO. He wanted to handle the data in OO way. Anybody got any suggestions here?
