Hi,

We have a client where the following code is resulting in an error 12, variable does not exist:

ALTER TABLE &lcToTable ADD COLUMN c_COMPDIV c(4)
REPLACE c_COMPDIV WITH c_company+c_division FOR .T.

This doesn't make sense to me. The alter table just added the field that we're now trying to do the replace on.

This code is running at 32 client sites and this is the only one with the problem. They are running innoculan for their virus checker and I'm wondering if anyone has experienced something similar. There are other similar instances that exemplify the same problem where the hardware seems to be 'behind the software'.

There is a setting in innoculan to ignore files with certain extensions. We have had the client add .dbf and .cdx to the list, but this problem is still occuring.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks,

James Rankin
