**Incorrect field sizes in Oracle (varchar2(40) shows up as c(20) in vfp**

1.) Are you able to change the Oracle field size to char(40)? -- vfp does seem to have trouble with Varchar2 at times.

2.) Did you manually change the view size to c(40) via the fiels, properties button? (it sounds like you tried this).
