SBT tried to be everyting to all people. Our app is a vertical and only sold to multi site POS auto aftermarket stores.

Because there is a Home Office environment, we allow them to have Oracle Financials or our company's AS-400 soultion. From our app we just populate to the backend what is needed.

I hate accounting myself. It's a necessary evil in our industry, but for years I only did non accounting systems. And there is plenty of business in that arena! Too few programmers will want to write from the ground up for no resale capability.
