I already use Ed's API_APPRun class. I tried to use it to execute the command in the batch file:

lharc.exe a data.lzh sm*.dat

I got the same "disk full" from NT. I've located a Delphi control that does have the correct algorithm, but the guy doesn't give up the source unless I pay him for it, which I'm more than willing to do, IF I can't find a VFP source. I may turn his control into an ActiveX control and drop it on my VFP form and then I'll be in the berries.
