I assume you mean the LNKFILES.DLL. I don't recall (and don't have access to) the help file at this moment, so I'm not exactly sure which other class you're referring to. There is a program ("File Runner" - Run_With.prg) that I've got here that uses the ShellExecute API function to run a file. You could use that to run the target of the link file by simple passing the link file name to the program. It also will produce the "Open With" dialog if a file type doesn't have an association. That, of course, doesn't apply in this case, and it will execute the target of the link file.
