What exactly is it you want to disable? In general, you can disable the use of SOC by temporarily changed the GL_TIW flag to .f., but beware, I have no idea if that will accomplish what you want to do or not. ;) If you had looked at the SBT code, that shouldn't have been too hard to figure out, though, so if this is not what you mean, you'll have to explain it in more detail.
