I can give you two examples of what we are doing:

1) MTS is hosting VFP COM objects that are accessed by IIS.
2) We have about 200 agents in a call center that have a VFP app on their desktop. The app must access data real time from several other remote sites. Rather than setup an IP address for each workstation, the VPF COM object is running in MTS. It accesses the remote site to handle the data transfer.
