I have a VFP 5.0 application running over a WAN (14 sites). The
EXE resides on the workstations and the data on a Server (NT) on
the WAN. Since we have just gone live, I set up a batch file
which runs a program to check the date and timestamp of the EXE on
the workstation against the latest version on the WAN. If they are different, the new version is downloaded from the WAN and then the
main EXE is run. It appears that this process is resetting the printer setup (Windows NT 4.0) to no printer. It only happens at WAN sites and it's not consistent. The location where the server resides has no problems (Work Stations are Windows 95/98/NT). Has anybody seen this problem before? Any help would be appreciated.
