Is there any way to control the volume that the sounds are played at? Is there a way to programmatically increase/decrease the volume control?

>AFAIK, no. The beep that's heard in FPW does not correspond to any of the defined Windows sounds. In VFP, it corresponds to the Default Sound as defined in the Sounds applet.
