Come on guys.

I've been out of the FP community for a while and I've only been back on UT for a couple of weeks. But if you care at all about the impression that this thread gives new subscribers, you'll accept that this thread doesn't become either of you. To a newbie whose read the guidelines, I think that even JVP upon reconsidering would admit that his original message would have been better placed in Chatter or even Third Party Products since it is not about Visual Foxpro in general. But however scandelous some might say that behavior is, it pales in comparison to the depths to which the thread has since degenerated.

I have only a small clue about the VFP skills of any of the participants - and so far you have even less about mine. But that's not really the point, is it? It is clear to me that there is longstanding baggage between the participants and that the emphasis on personal attacks prevents any chance of anything positive coming from this thread. So let's all just rise above it - or move it to chatter - and get back to demonstrating to newbies that this is a friendly atmosphere where professional developers help each other be more educated and productive.
