Hi Mike,

I do a search after the user presses the Search command button so what you have warned me about will not happen. The search command runs the SQL SELECT and narrows the search. You had me thinking though. Thanks for the input.

I believe I use SEEK in most of my other lookup forms that do partial searches though.

So it's not a true incremental search, but rather a search on a partial name or address or whatever after the user presses the Search button.

I found out that the SQL SELECT is much faster than the SET FILTER in my testing today.
