Hi All,

Stream of consciousness issues.........

A rough part in this adventure to automatically convert VFP reports to Word documents has been shapes and bitmaps that cross bands. To call it a PITA would be an understatement.

Another has been the automatic offset of text in fields versus labels. In Fox, line 'em up visually and they print out in-line. I think the box border is added to the exact placement of the contents.

When sent to Word, the field contents are shifted one point to the left and upward. This has to be accounted for....

Labels, OTOH, seem to be placed with the invisible border exclusive to the placment, width, and height. This means that you have to expand the "box" a bit when placing labels or the last word or character may be cutoff.

Fields that can "stretch". I have not solved this issue yet. Suggestions welcome.

Private report dataenvironments. I have semi-resolved this issue. I have yet to address user code in report DE events, though.

3rd party utilities: Not supported at this time. Maybe I'll get some info from Markus on GenRepoX to get this thing to work with it......

Stay tuned........
