You'd presumably fire the installer from the autorun, or an app that checks to see if the real application is already installed; if so, just launch the installed app, otherwise, run the installer. This could be done using nothing much more than a batch file and a small, lightweight app that did not rely on the VFP runtime to check if you've already done the install...
