>Come on John, we all know you think you are the greatest. It is time to stop this nonsense!
Peter, I think giving John a chance to do just that might be worth while. Your commentary added nothing to either side, and AFAIK, you've nothing to gain from directly or indirectly inciting JVP. If you have something to say, say it in a straightforward fashion. Something on the order of:
Pinhead A, Pinhead B thinks you're a pinhead!
Pinhead B, Pinhead C says your mother swims after troopships!
A, B & C, I'm getting great enjoyment out of watching you act like assholes at my slightest whim to incite poorly-considered behavior!
I'd probably have been better off not interjecting my comments on the input from the many, the loud, the clue-free yesterday, but it's too late to go back and change that. I'm just going to sit back and watch quietly. I expect the clown show will be at least as good as anything presented by the WWF on Pay-Per-View. I think JVP fails to qualify as a part of that side of today's slated entertainment.
OTOH, if you have a share of the tee shirt concession for the event, make your financial and emotional investment in this little sideshow an item of public record. Maybe buying into Rent-A-Clue and doing a little daytrading would be productive. Not encouraging people to be useless pricks this morning might be a better way to keep things semi-sane. If that's not your intent, put on a set of clown shoes and and inflatable nose and go join the sideshow...
