I had to do some work a while back with VMP, so had to learn it pretty well.
Unless the framework has been majorly reworked in the last year or so...
I wouldn't use it again, because it is not a business object-centered framework. I also found the form-parameter-passing scheme to be a hassle, and did not like the view/table mixture it recommended for DE forms. I know very little about CodeMine, but have worked a little with CodeBook, and I now know that if I needed to use a commercial framework instead of my own robust framework, I would choose Mere Mortals or VFE.
