Ken,

FWIW, I had this problem once. The only way I figured out to remove the "inert copies" was to use "ADD CLASS" each class to a new classlib. I took that opportunity to write a utility which copies all the classes to a temp classlib, deletes the original, then copies back to the original classlib. If you like I'll email it to you.

Well I've discovered now that many of my VCX's seem to have - for lack of a better term - "inert copies" of forms objects ,etc. in them that are NOT deleted in the table although they are not used by VFP. By simply copying the classes in the library to another new library - I eliminated something like 600 rows in one case.
