>>Maybe it's time for some other people to stand up and be counted among those disappointed by the pointed ommission of a reference to the ADO JumpStart. John Koziol already rang in. Count me as a subscriber who recognizes that FPA did not do the topic justice, either. Maybe other people will kick in here with their feelings and impressions.

>Unfortunately, there is a little bit of the chicken-or-egg here. To comment about it, one would have to know about JVP paper. But since the article omitted the reference, those who don't know what they are missing, still do not know.

DOS Tip: That's why I wrote this. People might be willing to read my post and might skip JVP's on the theory they've already heard his side. Coming from you or JohnK helps to get people who consider me or JVP to be hot-headed problem children helps get the point across. FPA did not do us any favors with the VB articles, or with this ADO article.
>Because of JVP's commentary many more now know about it, and hopefully FPA will be more conscientious in the future. Unfortunately, those who responded to what JVP posted about that issue failed to debate his points. Instead they berated him for posting it in the first place.

Well, now they can come take me on and make me a crispy critter for not calling his criticism unwarranted. They can't take me to task for having a grudge with Tamar over my treatment by FPA, since I've never been anything but a consumer of their product from a business perspective, and doubt she even knows who I am, other than by subscriber number or as an anonymous random poster in the UT.
>Now, if my issue will just show up. Our internal mail here sucks. :(
One of the best things about FoxTalk; since it's not a glossy magazine, it's available on-line as soon as the magazine is assembled; e-subscribers can get at content before the magazine arrives by US Snail.
