I am using Visual Promatrix although I make sure also to work independantly of any framework on some projects just to understand VFP better. VPM has a very active and supportive newsgroup as well as a priority newsgroup for new users. I used this framework to get a running start in VFP and I don`t regret it. The framework is in constant development and has third part tools and support (free code and links and commercial stuff like xCase, connections to web based tools, stonefield etc...) I recommend it highly. Gotta say though, I have not seen other frameworks.
The only other comment to be made is that as soon as you have committed to a framework, because of it`s nature, there are limits and requirement to submit to it way of doing things. Therefore I suspect it is a good thing to use several frameworks, ensuring adaptability to users' and application needs. (Including your own framework and/or sub framework).
