How to align a numeric field on a report?

>I am working on my reports which base on the remote views. When I created tables on the SQL Server, the numeric field always align on the left side(I mean the numbers always start from the left) but they don't on the remote views(when I run or browse the views).

Hi Mark,
Actually I had the font Courier New before and after I read your answer I tried to change the font of those fields to see the differences. Your suggestion is a super idea! Now I use the font Arial and those fields are displayed very pretty(just like I want).
