I'd like to know if there's a way to prevent users from clicking on the PRINT button when in report preview mode.

OR,

I'd like to allow printing only if I can force it to PROMPT.

Some background: my application generates huge financial reports (some as high as 700 pages long). When users want to print, they often are interested in 2-3 pages. I have to use preview so they can pick the pages they want. I then issue a second REPORT FORM, this time TO PRINTER PROMPT.

This only works if they DO NOT print from the preview but know enough to exit the PREVIEW and then be presented with the PRINT PROMPT. Very awkward, I know; that's why I'm looking!

Is this open to us now thru the use of Foundation Classes ?

Any ideas ?
