it sure does!

We use a 3rd party encryption engine called xitech cryptor, which works a treat at runtime because we run a function on the application data directory before we USE the tables, but now weve upgraded from 2.x to vfp6 data environments we have found that unless we un-encrypt the files before modifying a form the foxpro reports 'not a table/DBF' and throws out the entry.

I dont suppose any of the events in the data environment get launched at design time do they? I could use these to decrypt the files before VFP does its validation.
