This is probably the #1 reason to upgrade NOW, rather than as a future plan. If the client is using a working VFP5 app, with absolutely no development, then you can understand why they don't want to invest in an upgrade - they system works. If they want to develop even a single program to distribute to those 20 desktops, it is worth the price of the 5->6 upgrade in distribution headaches alone. (learned through personal experience)

True, but there ARE companies that don't understand this. Most likely headed by brick-and-mortar types who refuse to read email because it isn't a "real" medium, "Like a printed memo that you can write on"
