My only "negative" comment re: MM is that, if you have no OO experience, the learning curve is a bit steep (though the manual helps out a lot). That's not really the fault of the framework, though. It has more to do with trying to learn OO techniques and the framework at the same time. Having gone through that, I'm glad I toughed it out. I think the software I've written is much better than it might have been otherwise.
