I know I can agree with that. But, it is easier for me AND YOU to look at the project I have done and fix it right away. All it is when adding a record to BOTH Parent and Child table at the same time, the (gird) trigger fails. What more can I say? I have lay out the structure. I am not good with explaining the problem because I am not sure where the problem is. I just feel it is something simple that I am overlooking. I feel you would find it easier (and faster) than me once you do a little samples, you would then know where to go to check that 'something'. If once upon a time you accept to look over my project (very small, mere 4 forms, but the problem is just the one form) and finding it is going to require more time into it, just let me know and I will then fugire something out using my time (with hopefully some advise to check for).
