However, if I run the same app (EXE actually) with the same data and the new ESL on my Pentium 200MMX with Windows 950B I don't get these. In all cases I have the config.FPW with MEMLIMIT and MVCOUNT=1024. In some cases the problem occurs after a Foxpro error (not caught by the app, 'Ignore' and later (4 to 5 keystrokes later which involve Memo fields) we get this error. However, on at least one machine (P-200MMX 32Meg Win95A)

Delete the resource file (FOXUSER.DBF) and see if that helps. This seems to solve the problem about 80% of the time. Second, look at recreating all you index files.
