>Hi. I've got a really strange problem. I'm running a FPW2.6 app with the current ESL (2 Meg). THe app includes some Stonefield functions and the data dictionary.(Compiled all under current ESL). It also includes GENSCRNX And GENMENUX (compiled under current ESL). On some machines (Pentium 200, Pentium 133, DX486-100, etc.) under Windows 3.1 or Windows 950A we get random inconsistency errors. All machines affected have 16+Meg memory and sufficient disk space. If we run it with the old ESL we get less Resource Manager Inconsistency errors - but in different places. However, if I run the same app (EXE actually) with the same data and the new ESL on my Pentium 200MMX with Windows 950B I don't get these. In all cases I have the config.FPW with MEMLIMIT and MVCOUNT=1024. In some cases the problem occurs after a Foxpro error (not caught by the app, 'Ignore' and later (4 to 5 keystrokes later which involve Memo fields) we get this error. However, on at least one machine (P-200MMX 32Meg Win95A)
>it happens without any previous error. Kinda like a memory leak that builds up over time.

Delete the resource file (FOXUSER.DBF) and see if that helps. This seems to solve the problem about 80% of the time. Second, look at recreating all you index files.
